I met Aunty Jackie in 2001, after years of hearing wonderful and hilarious stories from her aussie family. I was delighted when the legend lived up to (and exceeded!) all expectations! I felt like I’d known her my whole life, even within a few days. It seemed as though Jackie was the cornerstone of this loving and wonderful family, and the respect everyone had for her confirmed it. What an incredible woman of strength and vibrancy!! I loved her sense of humour and sharp wit - her eyes always sparkled with mischief. I cherish those times in her kitchen with a glass of wine and a chat... she had time for absolutely everyone. I am so grateful and honoured to have had the chance to have known you Jackie... you are an inspiration, a leader, a role model, and I am forever in debt to your kindness and generosity…xxx
