Sharon Burton 7th November 2007

Jackie was a big part of my life whilst I was growing up with her daughter Julie. I only lived around the corner and Julie's was my second home. I carry great memories of me, Julie, Janet Fitz, Hayley McNay, Ally Ashcroft all getting ready in Julie's bedroom, a lot of the times just sitting off and Jackie would wait on us and join in on the laughs we had. There were also a few arguments (to say the least) but always ending up laughing our heads off (Jackie included) but not wanting us to see. Jackie you were one of the most patient, loving, gracious ladies I have ever met. You had a job on your hands with us lot and I often look back and wonder how you put up with us but that was just you. Your door was always open and you always welcomed us. The world will be a sadder place without you in it and I thank you for playing a big part in my life growing up. To: Roy, Wendy and Julie and family :- All that I can do is pray that you'll be given the power and the strength that you will need in this, your bitter hour .... Words, I know, can't take away the pain another bears, but I'm wanting you to know that you're all in my thoughts and prayers. Love Sharon Burton (Smith)
