Mum, the world has been a darker place since you left us. Sometimes I don't know how we carry on - and then I remember it's because you would want us to and you would be furious with us if we didn't live the lives you gave us to the full. But it's so hard without you. You had no idea how much light you shone into our lives. You are the most amazing, strong, wonderful, special person I have ever met, the best mum in the world to me and Julie, not to mention our best friend. We miss you so much. X
