Another funny holiday with Nan was when we went to Ireland – it was just the girls who went (+ Callum and Connor) and we stayed in this gorgeous old castle which had been converted into a hotel. It was a boss holiday – we had a proper laugh and I was loving telling the kids ghost stories and freaking them out. On the last night we decided to sit off on some couches downstairs, chill out, have a chat and drink some Baileys. But there was a wedding going on in the hotel, and they were really annoying, parading round in their tacky outfits, asking the kids to move so they could take pictures and generally acting like as if they owned the place. We were just sitting off getting bladdered and ripping into them, but as Nan got drunker she was getting louder and louder until it got to the stage where someone would strut past us, bulging out her corset and Nan would absolutely BOOM, ‘Oooooh she shouldn’t be wearing that with THOSE arms!!’ or ‘Oh NO, she’s really embarrassed herself there hasn’t she!’ Honestly, it was one of the funniest nights I've ever spent with Nan, and that's saying something.
